CAFE CULTURE

Cafe Culture events are lively monthly talks of local interest delivered by Hebden Bridge Arts Festival as part of our year-round programming.

These events are for all of the community to promote independence and social inclusion for our valued residents and carers. This project aims to support local artists, businesses and community groups to keep our town vibrant, inventive, active, inclusive and exciting.

Now in our third year with a well established audience we would like to reach more residents to join us and create a huge monthly social get together.

Popular talks have included The Plague Doctor (David Bell), Yorkshires Wild Beauty (Photographer John Gardner) and 3 Mills: Listers, Dean Clough & Salts Mills (Michael Cullingworth).

Contact us for a chat if you have a group who may be interested in attending as a monthly trip – we are keen to help with transport where we can. We would also love to hear from you if you want to volunteer with us, if you are a local speaker, or if you want to ask us about our speakers directory – email [email protected]
