THE MAN WHO PLANTED TREES: OUR EXHIBITIONS
Our free exhibitions welcomed all, showcasing diverse artwork from local professional and amateur artists, community workshops, and our Engaging Neighbourhoods partners.
Across three venues, visitors explored 104 visual art pieces and dozens of creative writings, with contributions from 76 emerging and established artists—many exhibiting for the first time! Beyond the artwork, we made the experience interactive with activity sheets for kids, a curated book selection, and even ceramic games crafted by one of our artists. A special bookmark stamp challenge encouraged visitors to explore all three venues, with a limited-edition signed print by Lydia Roe as a reward. Over 40 days, we welcomed an estimated 8,650 visitors. Huge thanks to our Art Fund student Creative Project Assistants, Iona and Serena, as well as the artists, venues, and dedicated volunteers who made it all possible.
